This private home is a captivating narrative in itself, meticulously designed to reflect the unique tastes and preferences of its owner. It is adorned with carefully upcycled totem objects, showcasing the homeowner’s cherished collection that has been thoughtfully curated over time.
Craft-oriented accessories are strategically incorporated, adding a subtle touch of ornateness to the various spaces within the home. Upcycled beds and chairs, a fireplace repurposed from a memorable shoot, regal carpets, an oak wood table with brass inlay, a marble slate coffee table, full-height curtains, and carefully placed point lighting contribute to the overall ambiance.
The design approach embraces an aesthetic that is defined as imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete, celebrating the beauty found in these qualities. Additionally, thoughtful considerations such as mirror accents, and adjustable seating options with sofas, as well as a low-height live edge wooden shelf that offers both functionality and visual appeal, complete the harmonious blend of style and utility within the space.
